This is the support group for the D-Star ircDDB network.

ircDDB is an IRC-based communication platform for Amateur Radio D-Star Digital Voice networks to exchange routing and other information between D-Star gateways.
ircDDB is the acronym for IRC-based Distributed DataBase.
ircDDB was already an existing development project from Michael, DL1BFF before we started to use the system for D-Star.

ircDDB enables homebrew D-Star gateways to work without being attached to any trust server system and communicate with all gateways being attached to the network using callsign routing.

ircDDB is a communication platform for D-Star gateways - it is no trust system.

This group is maintained by the ircDDB developer team.
It is for support questions and discussion on the Open Source software provided by the team like:
- ircDDB java apps and tools for Icom-Software based gateways.
- ircDDB libraries for developers of other gateway applications.
- visualization tools.
- the ircDDB network infrastructure.
