The National Network to End the War Against Iraq (www.endthewar.org), is a network of over 200 grassroots organizations. A service of the Network, iraq-meet is a listserv is for activists working to promote the ending of sanctions, bombings and further attacks against the people of Iraq. The list is presently unmoderated. Subscribers are encouraged to post useful information for other Iraq activists. We urge you to prioritize postings as follows:
a) announcements about local and national actions;
b) breaking news items, recent op-eds, press releases and reports;
c) personal commentary.
Hate mail is mail that promotes hostile sentiments toward whole ethnic groups or nations of people. Individuals who post hate mail repeatedly may be banned from the list, subject to the authority of the Media, Outreach, Education and Communications (MEOC) Working Group, and final approval of the Coordinating Committee of the Network.
