It's taken us a little while to get here, but we made it
at last and we're glad you're with us.
Thank you for signing up on iota's website
(www.iotacenter.org) and welcome to the iota community.

This mailing list will host a general discussion
on the subject of abstraction in animation-art realized
using the technologies of film, video, computer graphics,
or custom-built projection devices.

This art of light and movement has been called many things:
Visual Music, Color Music, Absolute Film, Image Processing,
Lumia, Musicolor, Mobilcolor, Light Synth, etc., etc., etc.
All forms and flavors are welcome on this forum.

For those of you who do not want to participate in this
discussion, but still want to be kept informed of iota's news and
activities, we have set up a second list for announcements only.
You can unsubscribe to this group by following the procedure
below and you will be automatically subscribed to our
announcements only list.

The policies of the group:
The membership list is not published and only members can
post to the group, but for now, the discussion is not moderated.
This means that all posts are sent directly to members of the
list without being censored for relevancy, civility or for any
other reason.

As a member, you can decide whether to receive posts as
