This list serves as a forum for persons needing assistance with claims for disability programs who are suffering from chronic invisible illnesses such as FMS, MPS, CFS, MCS, GWS, NMH and CFIDS as well as APS /ISAC.

Those with more visible / pronounced physical features of a disbility are also welcome here. The list members are persons in need for help and support for the overwhelming process of applying for disability and those who have succeed and serve as mentor.

This list manager, AKA: TigerLady moderates and manages this list. Matching new claimants with those expereinced in the process is a major focus and recruitment for mentors is on going.

This list is restricted to this limited cause and personal messages and entertaining material is not desired. References to sites on the web, books / written materials are welcomed.

All who are helped are asked to become a mentor after their battle is won.

Funding for a hardship fund to help members who are awaiting a determination and have no income or family and community resources for their basic needs for medical care, medications and shelter are under study and will be announced later.
