David Marchant (Offshore Alert) has just published that my computer hard
drive in Grenada was analyzed and revealed that I viewed porn sites on the
web whenever I wasn't busy stealing depositors' money.
I comment to openly acknowledge the lengths Mr. Marchant’s sources will go
to accomplish their agenda.
In fact there were some porn sites bookmarked on my computer
browser in Grenada. It happened that I had a young man come in and hook me
up for internet communications (theretofore I had only used word processing
and a fax program – that there was probably 100,000+ such files of
correspondence items and contract documents on my computer or reduced to a
dozen zip disks isn’t mentioned). I left the young man there for a couple
hours while I went to a lunch meeting.
When I returned the young man lectured me, observing that I didn't have any
games on my computer (he showed me where he had loaded a couple dozen of his
favorites). And since I lived alone, he figured all work and no play was
not a good recipe for happy single male life and he demonstrated to me how
to access the bookmarked porn sites he had created for my enjoyment. I
thanked him for his thoughtfulness. And when he left I went back to work.
But who has had my hard disk and other files since August 11, 2000? The
appointees of the Government of Grenada, PWC/Wide, and I believe probably
the FBI.
Watch "Enemy of the State" (a movie) sometime. There is a scene where the
movie’s bad guy wants to know everything he can about the movie’s good guy
so he can use it against him. He calls for his high-tech computer geeks to
dig up everything they can find-- what movies the man has rented, whether he
views porn on the internet, if he's had any affairs -- anything at all that
he can use to discredit the movie’s good guy in the public media.
Let's call the movie "art".
Now consider for just a moment in what ways you may now personally witness
real life imitating art.
Or is it that the art actually WAS trying to tell those of us who would find
it hard to believe, but highly entertaining, something about how real life
is these days?
Van
P.S. Yes, I have actually viewed porn sites on the internet. No, I didn't
steal the money.
