This is a knit along group for Inishmore, Baltic, Kinsale, Faroe, etc. Any of the fabulous sweaters from Alice Starmore's book Fishermen's Sweaters.

This group has been around for a while and while it was mainly started to work on sweaters from one book, we have many members who are working on sweaters from other books and other authors. We welcome anyone working on this type knitting projects.

Since this group is on going and possibly never ending, whenever you want to start, just go for it. Or have you already started and just want to join. Welcome. We'll be here to knit along with you or behind you and hopefully there will be someone that can answer your questions. I'll try and keep the database/files updated for each sweater as people post and work on different sweaters.

You can add pictures of your sweaters in the photo section. Really, I encourage it. Sometimes all it takes is seeing a few finished samples outside the pages of a book to help out someone and their project.
