This mailing list focuses specifically on issues related to Indigenous rights and militarization.

It brings together people and organizations concerned about the particular problems that Indigenous communities confront in relation to the siting of military bases and/or other forms of militarization in their territories as a result of the denial of their right to self-determination.

The list is used to: 1) exchange information on local circumstances and struggles, 2) exchange ideas and strategies to support and build on ongoing local and transnational efforts to end militarization of Indigenous territories, and 3) strengthen the growing global network of people and organizations working toward this from a variety of perspectives and positions.

List members include individuals from Indigenous communities and organizations confronting military bases and other forms of sustained militarization, as well as individuals from organizations advocating for Indigenous rights and/or working on militarization issues.
