This group is for the proliferation and understanding of West African Ifa/Orisa Tradition of Nigeria and Benin Republic, for folks in our expression of Orisa Tradition to interact with each other and foster friendships, community, and other relationships outside of cyber space - face to face. Folks of Diasporal Orisa communities are also welcome to participate in a non-judgemental non-condescending manner. This is a tool for networking and understanding, but it is not meant to replace the sacred relationship between godparents (babaloosas, oluwos, iyaloosas, etc) and their godchildren. Deep esoteric knowledge remains off-limits on this forum.

IJO ASAFORITIFA ORISA COMMUNITY is a worldwide temple/organization registered with the International Congress of Orisa Tradition and Culture. We are available for various services including divination, spiritual counseling and healing, lectures/workshops, initiations to various Orisa in West Africa, training for olorisa and babalawo, naming ceremonies, weddings, excursions in Yorubaland, etc.

***Chief Aikulola Iwindara Fawehinmi, the Gbawoniyi Awo of Osogbo, is the Leader of Ijo Asaforitifa Orisa Community, a priest of Obatala, an Oje (Egungun priest), as well as a Babalawo. He was trained and initiated to Obatala, Ifa and Egungun, all ceremonies having been performed in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. Chief Aiku speaks Yoruba language fluently and travels to Yorubaland annually to further his training with his elders as well as to initiate his apprentices/omo awo/omo orisa in the midst of his colleagues, elders, and junior priests.
