A social action and Voluntary services group that focuses on civil and human rights, child labor, women development, basic education, rural upliftment,legal and administrative reforms, good governance, probity in public life, Accountability of civil servants, Public Interest litigation and micro-development projects. It also focuses on public awareness,consumer movement and individual rights and dignity.

The forum also attempts to interact and collaborate with other Voluntary action groups interaction and in India to consolidate and strengthen public movement in society.

The Forum believes in collaboration and not confrontation with government for common goal of better quality of life and justice and dignity to all.

The membership is open to any men or woman in age group 16 to 70 years of age Indian or NRI or any foreign citizens (non Indians) interested in global ethical and governance issues and special interest in Indian sub continent.
