Greetings Lents community,
REACH Community Development is looking for volunteers to participate in the annual Paint & Repair-a-thon. Volunteers paint and repair homes throughout the Lents community. To volunteer, contact Loren Guerriero – see contact information below.
Event: 20th Annual Paint & Repair-a-thon
When: Saturday, August 1st 8:00am-2:30pm
Where: Throughout Lents Neighborhood. Meet at Lents Park
Who: Volunteers are being recruited to make safety-related repairs, do exterior painting, and perform yard clean-up. All skill levels are welcome, however skilled tradespeople are especially valuable.
What: Hosted by REACH Community Development, the Paint & Repair-a-thon brings together hundreds of volunteers to paint and repair homes of low-income seniors. In commemoration of the event’s 20th Anniversary, REACH plans on serving 20 homeowners. This is a great opportunity to help out people in the Lents Neighborhood and connect with other people working in the community.
