what you're asking....<br><br>We're a very small group
of social activists, and have dealt with a number of
problems due to our activities:<br><br>one was threatened
by college administration five times, including
three formal charges including conspiracy;<br><br>at
least one was threatened with a firearm;<br><br>one was
injured and held at weapon point (exact reason
unknown--may have been unrelated to activism);<br><br>at least
one was threatened with arrest;<br><br>one had two
warrants for arrest (may have been unrelated);<br><br>one
repeatedly had badly needed funds withheld and had to borrow
money for food (reason unknown);<br><br>at least one
lived on the street;<br><br>at least one was
followed;<br><br>at least one was the subject of
investigation;<br><br>one was shot at (reason unknown);<br><br>one was shot
(this was probably an accident, however);<br><br>at
least one was threatened with murder;<br><br>one had a
career destroyed because of unverified charges that were
never formally filed (reasons unknown);<br><br>etc.
Note that several of these may have happened to the
same person. At least three of them happened to me;
don't ask me more.<br><br>Be careful what you wish for.
