The purpose of this group is to provide updates and information about the offering of the Traditional Latin Mass in the Illinois Valley area. The Latin Mass is currently being offered at two locations (listed below). It is our hope that the Latin Mass will soon be offered every Sunday (or better yet, every day!) in the immediate LaSalle-Peru vicinity. PLEASE JOIN THIS GROUP. I would like this group to be a central meeting place for all who attend the Latin Mass in the Illinois Valley. NOTE: This group is as much yours as it is mine. Members are welcome to post messages. If you want to make an announcement of any kind, give updates on schedule changes, or just introduce yourself, you are welcome to post.

The Latin Mass is currenty being offered at the parishes of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Tonica (Leonore), IL and Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Streator (Eagle Township), IL. I personally invite and encourage you to join this group if you do attend or plan on attending the Traditional Latin Mass at these parishes.

The permanent mass schedule is thus (starting December 2007) First Sunday of the Month at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Leonore, IL at 9:30 AM. Third Sunday of the month at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church near Streator, IL (Eagle Township) at 8:00 AM Please check the "Messages" section for recent changes to the mass schedule.
