Description

The group was created for trail enthusiasts in the DuPage County Illinois area. This also includes the Great Western Trail that parallels the IPP from Elmhurst to West Chicago. Whether its walking, bike riding, or cross country skiing..the intent is to share trail experiences, photos (past and present) and issues involving both the IPP and the GWT.

Re: Great Western Trail, Ackerman Park and over 340 very old trees.
Along the Great Western Trail is a very nice recreaytional amenity Ackerman Park. In Ackerman Park is a 2 acre natural habitat with over 340 old growth trees.
