This group is open to all of those who are interested in helping with the fight against poverty and to those that wish to make a difference in the lives of our Youth. Our main group is located in Huntington West Virginia, but all are invited to join. As a group known as ilacc, Independent Liberal Arts Community Co-op, we know we can make a change towards a more positive outcome of our situation. We work on the basis of a hand up, not a hand out. Are you ready to walk down the roads towards Unity & Solidarity? Are you ready to try to apply concepts that work and discard the ideas that dont? We are all in this together! Let us put our strengths and voices together and sing until we acheieve the right to decide what is best for us. Let's help put an end to the misconception that poor folks are rejects of society. We are people. We have feelings. We love and are loved. We laugh, cry, and have compassion for our brothers and sisters of the road. The only wrong choice in this group is to do nothing. If we always do what we've always done, we always get what we got, Nothing! Be peaceful and please respect each others opinions. All people will be welcome regardless of your income, housing status, age, race, disabilities or sexual oreintation.We hope you bring with you a ray of hope for someone who has less or nothing.
