Description

WELCOME! We started in December of 1999 and now have over 1500 members! If you own an IH Cub LO-BOY Model 154, 185, or 184, join in. There's also a lot of commonality with the Farmall Cubs (engine, trans., esp.) So I expect we'll hear from some of those folks, also. WELCOME from the club founder, Barry (barry_s_u) and the moderator, Myron (mbounds_e9)! Want to get serial number info and to learn about the mechanical Roto-cam PTO clutch? Join the group and go the "Links" on the left menu. The top folder is for FAQs. Feel free to share you technical tips and knowledge there.

The photo here is of carterdsr1's 154 from the photo section of this group. Join the group and see other fine specimens of these tractors in the Photo section! Thanks for dropping by!

Hang the pony off of the back of the tractor. It is added weight for traction. Running a jackshaft from the pony to the blower is no different than running it

Re: 154 snowblower
With as heavy as the blower is, I can't imagine also having to lift a pony engine!

Re: 154 snowblower
The solution to the snow thrower is to mount a separate engine 8 horsepower or so on the snow thrower itself.

Re: 154 snowblower
There are several issues when using the snowthrower. 1. Traction. The solution is tire chains and wheel weights. If you have the fat doughnut turf tires, wheel
