Well welcome to the wonderful world of IB then!
*g*<br>Most of the people here have been in IB for all of 6
months right now so we're still getting the hang of
things, right guys? :)<br><br>Any how, what do you mean
by research topics? Do you mean subjects you can do
your extended essay in? Or are you talking about the
group four (?!) project? If you're asking about
subjects you can take within the baccalaureate, then I
have no idea! It varies around the world. But
apparently they suggest you do the Extended Essay in a
subject you study because it's easier although that could
just be my school.
Gees, don't say hi to the rest of us!! *g*<br><br>Well you've basically got it
Larnold! Just post, reply and you're there!! It's a message board place as you
probably would have gathered.
I have the worst Internet deal EVER. It's 100 hrs
for $65 and almost $2 for every hour overtime. I
can't belive we're still with them. At this very moment
I am investigating several other alternatives, but
convincing a reluctant Wub to move is proving to be more
difficult than one would anticipate.
yup, chem was hard for me, but, I took the subsid
level test even though i took the higher level
class<br>that test was pretty easy <br>they asked me<br>"if
Carbon has a mass number of 12 and an atomic number of
6, how many protons, neutrons, and electrons does it
have" for a free response
Well if your Internet bill is over $44, then I suggest you join my Internet plan
because we get 150hours unlimited d/l and great speeds, up to 56k
lines.<br><br>Besides, the Internet if lovely!
Ah, yet another fun thing you've found to occupy
time on the 'net! Do you know how big my Internet bill
is gonna be this month!?!?! Not that I'm
complaining, it's just the cries of pain I hear from my wallet
that've made me a little worried!
thanx for the congrats<br><br>What classes did I
do? depends on the year,<br>I ended up with four
years of English, five of spanish, three of chemistry,
three of biology, one of physics, one of american
history, one of (I dont know what its called) world
leaders, and the Russian revolution, and all the wars,
Economic Legal and Political Science, Geometry, Algebra
two, Studies one and two, trig, <br>I think thats it
in a nutshell<br>bye
I figure it could be an idea to list what
subjects I'm doing in the IB. I'm in Year 11 so I'm doing
Higher Level Maths, and planning to do Higher Level
English, and Biology as well. Standard level subjects will
be Chemistry (eugh), ITGS(which I'm anticipating)
and Chinese.
Rumour has it that IB is thinking of changing the
way that Theory of Knowledge is assessed to a
20minute presentation and one essay as opposed to the two
essays. Does anyone out there have any opinions on that?
