Cheers

back in the days when LAA was still called PFA, there was a PFA
Engineering project #178, which was started after someone requested that PFA evaluate the IBIS for UK approval.
LAA's Andy Draper once told me that "unless there is considerable service experience with identical models elsewhere, we are obliged to investigate any design for safety".
Perhaps currently enough service experience exists for LAA to consider approving the design? You might want to contact LAA's Francis McDonald to learn what would be needed to get their blessing. Good luck!

cheers
