IAIC-CHILD Indian adoption information, resource and community for Indian families and other sub-continent families, who have already adopted Indian children, or who are DEFINITELY IN THE PROCESS of adopting from India or the sub-continent. This is a branch of the original ICHILD and we recommend that you subscribe there too! Ichild.org

The IAIC-CHILD mailing list and website is also for the purpose of celebrating each and every new step in the direction of building a family through adoption, including referrals and arrivals. We always have families in the adoption process or aleady home with their children(agency led and/or independent), so someone should be able to answer your questions.

Once I receive a notice of your subscription, you will receive an automated introduction request. Once you receive that, you email your introduction to iaic-child-owner@yahoogroups.com

Once I have your introduction (name(s), where you reside, connection to India, where exactly in the adoption process you are) I will process your request. This is a voluntary list that I manage. I will make a decision on your request as soon as I get online.
This mailing list and website is not affiliated with any adoption agency, and is completely subscriber organized, and subscriber run. There is no known agency personel on this mailing list, and we encourage you to enjoy this safe space on the internet.
