REUNION DATES: MAY 29, 30 and 31, 2009 and are working on proposed activities as follows:
FRIDAY, MAY 29, 2009:
Late afternoon Tour of Hume-Fogg, then make our way downtown on Broadway to tour lower Broadway – join your friends for Happy Hour and dinner on your own afterward. The downtown area is quite tourist friendly, clean and safe. There are several fun venues for those of you who can stay up later than 9:00 p.m., such as Wildhorse Saloon.
SATURDAY, MAY 30, 2009:
For those who don’t stay downtown too late on Friday evening, Ron Bolton will be arranging a golf outing for Saturday morning. We will also have a list of other tourist/historic places you can enjoy. Bill Harris is involved with The Hermitage and suggested a tour there – I don’t think I have been there since grade school. Or for those less active individuals, just sleep late and join us for cocktails, dinner and dancing later.
SATURDAY, MAY 30 2009:
5:00 – 7:00 Registration and Cash Bar Cocktail Reception;
7:00 – 9:00 Dinner
9:00 – Until Dancing to “our” music via DJ (Wayne Veach’s son). We will be taking
request in advance. So go ahead and start practicing the stroll, twist,
or anything else that your back or hips will allow.
SUNDAY, MAY 31, 2009:
Join your old and new friends for a Sunday Brunch (on your own nickel) at a location to be determined.
