For the discussion and use of the Motorola VHF and UHF HT600E hand portable radio, The HT600E was in use for a number of years with a number of United Kingdom Police forces and Home Office departments. At the time of group formation there are loads of HT600E's on the second hand market in the UK, due to them being replaced by Airwave TETRA radio equipment. The HT600E is a 25KHz specification variant of the Motorola MT1000. We also have some information on the MASC encryped version of the HT600E and it's replacement the MT6000E, a 99 Channel variant of the GP900.
