Homeschooling an only child can be quite challenging at times. This group is open to anyone for support, enrouragement and ideas for those who choose the home-schooling road for you and your child. Although we are based in NC, anyone can join for support. We have a database that you can access to see who is in your state to get together with.

Feel free to introduce yourself and tell how long you have been homeschooling. Maybe list some problems? Encouragement? Questions?

While this group is not solely "Christian", we do have a Christian view point most of the time, but we welcome ANYONE from any faith. When you homeschool an only child, you need all the support you can get! :o)

It is not only for "only child" homes... Mabye you have 3 children, but you are schooling only one at home. What do you do? What about socialization? What about playmates during the day? I know there are so many questions. Maybe you have events you would like to share, feel free to post them. :o)

Be encouraged... Yes, this road is less traveled, and there are may obsticals along the way, but with support, WE CAN DO THIS! :o)
