Our Mission: When Michael Eisner and Frank Wells took charge of the Disney Company in 1984 the company was in terrible shape. Together President Wells and CEO Eisner rebuilt the company and by many accounts saved the company. Unfortunately, Eisner's ego (and power) has been unchecked ever sense Wells death in 1994. Eisner has become lost in a world of his own, and as of late, the company has suffered. Many partnerships that benefited the company have been lost in recent years due to the paranoia of Eisner and his lackeys. They would applaud talent until it became a threat to their own power, and then strangle it. The good news is that Eisner is on his way out, and Bob Iger is on the way in. CEO-elect Iger has a golden opportunity to fix much of the damage that Eisner has done - but only if he acts quickly. He needs to reach out to those Eisner has alienated.
