Description

The Houston Great Books Council coordinates local GB reading/discussion groups and organizes special events around Houston and the outlying communities.

We have meetings to suit all schedules: monthly or biweekly, daytime or evenings, weekdays or weekends.

This Yahoo group is used to send our members monthly newsletters and "Heads-Up" notices about book-related events in the Houston area. Please feel free to join (see the upper-right corner of this page). We welcome all and there is no fee required to participate.

We urge you all to contribute your ideas about special books you've just read, cultural events around town or stimulating articles. Just click on "Post" in the left column of your screen.
