WELCOME to HOPE Caravan!

HOPE Caravan went to Woomera in 2002 to join the actions in the Festival of Freedoms at Easter. Along the way the O in HOPE transformed from an Organisation to an Organism. It became HOPE >> Hunter Organism for Peace and Equity but it can also stand for Human Organism for Peace and Equity. Hunter, for those who do not live in Australia is a region which has Newcastle as its capital. Forget the acronym and the word HOPE says it all - HOPE for global justice, HOPE for peace and HOPE for freedom and liberation of all peoples.

Our caravan includes all who wish to join us on the journey to freedom. The diversity of the Caravan is reflected in our own diversity of being. To limit ourselves to one label is to limit our own humanity much as we limit another by seeing them as one label – from Queue Jumper to Illegal Human (how can a human be illegal??) to a Number. We recognise in our own intuitive ways that each of us is not the labels and that what unites us is very subtle and is based on our will.

This discussion list is based on the will and intention to act for global justice and peace. In 2002 Hope Caravan made the journey to Woomera. In 2003 Hope Caravan went to Baxter Concentration Camp in South Australia. Both journeys to the South Australian Desert. In 2004 Hope Caravan is sailing to Nauru with the Flotillas of Hope.

Whilst many items of discussion here will be task oriented in how to make our actions for global justice and peace be more effective, there will also be opportunities to discuss broader implications of a spiritual outlook focussed into political activism.
