Description
~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~
Everyone has a different view and definition of what
Homesteading is or should be. Come in and share
what you are dreaming of or how you are making your
dreams come true.
~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~
Please post all your "how to" ideas, like how to raise
chickens, cows...or how to build a shed/barn/house, or
about off-grid, sustainable living.
All are welcome here. If you are still living in the city
in an Apartment and just trying to make plans to move to
the country, you are as much a Homesteader in your heart as
those of us who have already made the move. Join us.
We have recently had to change our policy on accepting members
due to a large number of spammers. All "real people" will be accepted as members. It might take Dave or I a few hours to check
in and see a new request, so bear with us. Also any new member posting will experience a delay while we "moderate" that post. As
before, if you are a "real person" and not a spammer, we will allow
your post. Sorry for this, but it is necessary.

Re: Living dry
Greetings, For years, I lived with a camp shower. And in the winter we had to heat water. Using a kettle rather than a pot works well, but we filled empty
