Homespun Learning

This no-cost secular cooperative group is open to active homeschooling families living in or near Yolo County, California, including the cities of Davis, Dixon, West Sacramento, Sacramento, Winters, and Woodland and towns in the Capay Valley, with most activities taking place in and around Davis. Classical homeschoolers, deschoolers, and unschoolers (and those practicing any combination thereof) are welcome.



The Fine Print
  1. All posts must be respectful in nature, and all posters should identify themselves. Messages regarding problems or concerns should be direct, constructively seeking issue resolution with an eye toward consensus building.

  2. All members must agree to listing in the online directory database, which is viewable (and searchable) by members only.

  3. All members must intend to participate; that is, organize, attend, and/or help with activities or events for the Homespun community at large. Our moderators, who share administrative duties for this group, review the member list annually, directly (and respectfully) asking members assumed to be inactive how they are participating. For any members who are confirmed to be inactive via this query, moderators will ask if they'd like to unsubscribe or if they plan to become active--and if so, how, facilitating participation whenever possible.
