Single parents/guardians who homeschool or are unschooling their children (or are thinking about it) are invited to discuss events and issues. This message board is a clearinghouse of information that will not only help single parents to home educate their children but will also enable single homeschoolers to exercise, promote, and protect their right to homeschool their children. This message board does not promote or advocate any particular educational approach, religious conviction, political stance, or any other view or philosophy... This group is for a broad-spectrum of homeschoolers, unschoolers and alternative education. You will get different opinions for any problem you have. Just take all of the advice to heart, then use what feels right.

As a new group my goal is to that we are here to help each other through good times and bad and share a laugh or two. We discuss, sometimes debate and offer reference material on single and shared parenting.
The more you give the more you will receive. We are here for the longhaul and true friendships are made. This is not a dating service or pick-up board. Let's keep it clean and have fun.

Members are expected to show respect for people whose abilities, beliefs, culture, race, sexual identity or other characteristics are different from their own.

The group manager moderates all new members. This is done to limit spamming by having people on the list who are actually interested in homeschooling or unschooling as a single parent.
