Description

Welcome to the Homebrew Transistor Radio Group.

This group discusses recreating 1, 2 and 3 transistor receivers. This includes parts acquisition, assembly techniques, audio and radio frequency amplifiers, frequency converters, measurement instruments and contests.

Naturally, we can not discuss transistor receivers without "spilling over" into antennas, grounds, ICs, other not strictly transistor subjects.

The Homebrew Transistor Radio Group welcomes all people interested in transistor receivers for self education or enjoyment.

Legal unlicensed transmitter discussion (such as Part-15 in the USA) has moved to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LUTT/

Electronic circuits using components from the germanium era can be found at http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/2N1150_Down/
