Welcome to homebrewpirateradio! This group is dedicated to the design, construction, testing, and use of homebuilt radio transmitters used for pirate radio operations on the shortwave radio bands. The main focus is on "Grenade-type" units (solid-state, portable, 12V operation, amplitude modulated) but other designs are welcome too. Rather than just a collection of circuits, I hope this will become a living, breathing forum for all Grenade "brewers" to exchange ideas, tips, test reports, et al... in hopes that we can all become better at what we do... building and operating pirate radio transmitters!
