An ongoing knit-a-long for people knitting vestments, altar linens or other religious items for a church or synagogue and related ceremonies. We will encourage each other and try to provide resources and information to help in our endeavors. The only requirements are that your knitting be related to religious activities and that you are respectful of others. Please respect copyright laws, post links rather than patterns, unless you have permission to do otherwise.

If you are planning on knitting a liturgical stole, lace for vestments, altar linens, frontals, prayer shawls, a christening gown or shawl, veil for first communion or a kippah, please join us on our official start date of August 15, 2005. Vestments often take quite a while, so we have no deadlines, please just let us know how your progress is going.
