Hollywood Happy Hour is brought to you by Nelson Aspen, Bonnie Gillespie, and Kristyn Burtt. We started producing monthly networking events in Hollywood in March 2003. (We soon learned that "monthly" is a lot of work and adjusted to "quarterly" for 2004 and 2005.) Our most recent event was December, 2006. I know! I know! That's forever ago.
Well, see, we got so dang busy that, unless we were to hire out the job of producing the regular networking events, there's just no way to keep up the level of professionalism, excitement, and FUN we had built up in our first few years of HHH events! :) And seeing as HHH events only ever broke even, we don't really have a bank account from which to hire a professional event producer, now, do we? ;)
So, Hollywood Happy Hour remains on hiatus for now. At least in the IN PERSON sense. Luckily, we have this really amazing online support group--over one thousand members, y'all--and in just a few years, we've amassed a really great database of information (seriously, do a SEARCH) and network of wonderful people in the industry, all willing to help answer questions, point newbies in the right direction, maybe pose a few great questions of their own!
Thank you ALL for making HHH such a wonderful forum.
