Dennis, Kennedy and all,
Thank you for your marvelous work on the Pyramid of Peace that
inspires us all.
I am glad that we have received some donations from people who we
dont even know, thanks to radio reports. We might work for more such
support.
I share a few thoughts on our principles for sharing and I await your
thoughts, too.
I think that the major accomplishment of the Pyramid of Peace is that
we are actively including everybody, even people who are enemies or
who are far removed.
The principle here is that the well-connected people such as us are
sharing our connection to allow resources to travel further. So we
can get resources from people we dont know and give them to people we
dont know.
So the money from total strangers should likewise reach out to total
strangers who might control it and share further. And we should get
to know the one and the other and involve them as much as possible so
that we arent strangers any more.
And as we know each other better we can ask each other for support
for particular projects such as the Peace Caravan.
And when we care personally about each other then for example I can
support you to have the telephone which you need because you were
robbed, or likewise help Samwel Kongere who is sick receive the best
of care.
So we can work in parallel in all these ways.
This will allow decentralized participation and inclusion.
I write this because it is counter to our natural tendencies to focus
resources on what we ourselves can accomplish most. But it also puts
us in a situation where others are encouraged to contribute through
us because they see that we can push out the resources even further
to the most marginalized. In this way we have set up a network for
sharing resoruces and for encoruaging sharing. Even if the money or
time credits are never used or spent, but simply the repeated act of
sharing changes the situation entirely.
It is natural also if a fraction of our resources at hand go to the
preojects we ourselves are participating and to unite our efforts the
Peace Caravan is a great example. I think it is good that we
practice distinguishing between the nature of the projects and the
nature of the income as I describe above or as you might suggest and
advise.
