am a kenyan my names are herbert santa charo .i came across someone from
tanzania called hellen mahoo whom introduced me to your website and the
kind of work you are involved in just an overview.i myself volunteer with
touch africa international in kenya which is an organisation involved in
volunteer replacement programms at the coast province of kenya and too in
nairobi .mostly in children homes, hospital ,orphanages and conservation
sites, also to we do bit of research work n social mappin in coast
province as we develop modules for work placement and development of
work,projects,which goes around issues of concern as
health.education.conservation.social concern and community
development.this are main focus and pioneering projects with emphasis to
expand to the whole country in kenya and too in tanzania.

i isues of conservation we have have been working closely with an elephant
sanctuary in kwale district of coast province of kenya where we are
primariry involved in making of elephantdung paperprojects .which is all
based and run by community youth group whom work on voluntary basis ..the
whole project is an income generating activity for the community cause
they depend on selling o the elephant paper dung products to touristic
hotels in the caostal town of mombasa.the project is in an elephant
sanctuary whch was donated land by the comunity dwellers and it was as a
result of elephant .human connflict in that area .it covers around
10000acres of land.

we have lots of work but political crisis have hampered all this processes
of social mappin and now we cannot really deploy people go do research in
different parts of the country.s increamn of people getting mobilisdas
refugees in their own country and killings and ethinicity of the different
