This group is dedicated to support and discussion around the ideas in the book, "Hold on to Your Kids" by Gordon Neufeld, Ph.D. and Gabor Mate, M.D.

Our intention is that this is a safe and supportive environment for both parents and professionals to gather.

This discussion group was founded by Todd Sarner and Jennifer Mitchell who are Counselors and Parent Coaches in Marin County, California. They will be the Group Owners and Moderators. While Dr. Neufeld has given his consent and appreciates their initiative, he is not involved in managing or controlling this forum in any way. He is however, a member of this discussion group, and as time allows, will be dropping in from time to time to participate. He requests that questions not be directed towards him personally as time restraints do not permit him to respond.

The only real "rules" of the forum are to be respectful of others and not to advertise any goods or services on the forum.
