This group was created to upload requested Metalworking related files that I have downloaded from other Yahoo groups but are no longer available for download (files on those groups are rotated as space is needed and may not reappear for some time). This group was created to temporarily upload those files that are no longer available so that others may share in the information. This was changed, however. This egroup has become a permanent home for Geometer's Beginnger's Workshop files.

Although I will not limit the files to strictly Geometer's articles and metalworking information since most machinists also deal with other materials, such as wood and plastic. That said, this is not a woodworker's group and while I will be fairly liberal with the offtopic files I accept, I reserve the right to reject files that I do not feel qualify for this group, however, I will try to point you to a group that is better suited so that information may be uploaded.

Note to those seeking membership: I require that you register to become a new member in order to reduce spamming. As long as you are not a known spammer from other groups, membership approval is just a formality and approval is pretty much automatic. I only require you to wait one to two days before I approve access, except on weekends it takes longer since I do not access the groups at all on weekends. I apologize for this inconvenience. Also, starting 11/29/06, all new members will have their posts moderated until it is determined that you are not a spammer. This is due to a recent increase in spamming of this group.
