Halton North Peel Naturalist Club was established more than 30 years ago by people interested in nature and conservation in the Halton Hills and North Peel area. The Halton/North Peel Club is an affiliated member club of the Federation of Ontario Naturalists.

Our Objectives
To study, enjoy, and promote an understanding of and an interest in nature
To promote responsible attitudes toward the human use of the biosphere and to prevent its degradation
To promote the conservation of natural areas
To cooperate with the Federation of Ontario Naturalists and other bodies which have the above or similar interests.
Meetings
From September to June, our club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at Centennial Middle School in Georgetown, Ontario. These evening meetings are both informative and entertaining, with presentations by experienced local naturalists and knowledgeable scientists covering a broad spectrum of the natural environment.
Field Trips
At least once a month, from September until June, we have a general interest walk in a local natural area. We also have day trips to areas futher afield, such as Long Point in March to view Tundra Swans and other waterfowl.
