HMBirds is mainly for reports of bird sightings and interesting bird behavior in the eleven counties surrounding Albany, NY. Unusual extralimital reports are also welcome.

HMBirds is open to everyone interested in birding in the Hudson-Mohawk Region -- also known as "Region 8" of the New York State Ornithological Association. HMBirds is sponsored by the Hudson-Mohawk Bird Club, but you do not have to be a member of the Club to join HMBirds. If you are not a member of the Club, please consider joining it, particularly if you live in the Hudson-Mohawk region. The Club welcomes members at all skill levels, and there are many benefits.
