This group is for owners and pilots flying on Hirth engines or those who want to know more about Hirth products. We encourage you to join our group so you can learn and share information about Hirth products, as well as installation tips, tricks, maintenance, trouble shooting and other related information.

People come to this site to learn about Hirth as well as exchange information, good or bad, about their experiences with Hirth products. We have a responsibility in that regard, to the extent possible, that information being posted is fair and balanced. If you wish to post about Hirth engine products, please identify in your initial posting if you:

1) Currently own [or have owned] a Hirth engine and if so, what model and year of manufacture, hours on the engine and the application the engine was installed on;
2) Have never owned the Hirth product, but wish to relay information about the Hirth product, please let the group know that you are passing along second hand information;
3) Advocate a different brand engine, tell us why.
