Daz....I have a Traffie 10 thru 20meters hex. No issues with rain. But ice
does have an impact on swr. But then again, I think ice will effect most
beams as well.

Hi

A friend of mine built and put me homebrew hex 6 {band 20-6m)
its to replace my 3 ele tribander... Im Very impressed in its
DX capabilities, Ive already work VK ZL and state side from the UK
with ease.. The only down side is, and not a big one, as ive got an auto
tuner is the SWR goes up quite a bit when it rains or theres ice or snow on
it? it affects 20m, 17m 15m 12m it can go as high as from 1 to 1.1 to
3.0....
I know this is the case with other Hex beams, but 99% of the people ive
asked say theres are ok??? any suggestions or advice...

Thanks Daz
