Description
H.E.R.A. is the Humanities Education and Research Association created to advance teaching and understanding of the Humanities through its biennial conference, publications, and website. The organization is perfect for anyone interested in the Humanities and Interdisciplinary study, as they can benefit from HERA's activities, but educators (both K-12 and college), museum directors, and others who work with public Humanities programs should find membership especially useful. For HERA the Humanities are those areas of study and creative activity that express and define what we are as human beings. Art, History, Literature, Music, Philosophy, and Religion are just some of those areas. HERA is especially interested in the exploration of the interdisciplinary connections among these and other areas of study.
Hera is a non-profit organization benefiting the Humanities. Go to www.h-e-r-a.org to join!
