My mother, Emilie Boyles and I need your help. Those of you who pick
up food each week know it is me and not my mother who runs the food
program each week. Those of you who go to Faith Church know the work
I have done there over the years and those of you who have
volunteered on this campaign know that I have worked hard. People
are saying ridiculous things about us. People are saying that my mom
has debts but they are not saying that her debts are because of
illness and that she had help from Vocational Rehabilitation to get
out of her student loans so she could move forward, Lars Larsen said
we bought a flat-screen television which we did not (we did purchase
four laptops that are the property of the campaign.). My mother got
me this house so I'd have a place to live if she died from having
too many seizures. She made sure I knew how to handle the family
finances because from time to time she has been too sick to be able
to do them herself...and most people who know us well know that it
has been my house and I have been the one to make decisions
regarding it and who has even been allowed to visit here since we
first moved in.

Maybe most 16-year-olds couldn't handle it...but it is because our
public schools and drug-addicted parents don't expect enough of
their kids. Maybe if more of you spent less time gossiping (which in
the Bible is a sin) and more time teaching your kids how to focus on
their schoolwork and job skills instead of skipping school and
smoking weed your kids would also be able to get living wage jobs.
My great-grandfather was just 13 when he came to this country by
himself. He got a job, found housing, eventually owned his own
business and set an example for my grandfather and my mother.
Working for my mother isn't even my first job in marketing. Many of
you would not even know who she is if I hadn't been working online
to get her name out.

Here is the help we need: My mother only makes $600 per month and
has no savings. She needs a lawyer. Lawyers who have looked at our
contracts say that we have a good case and it is likely that they
would eventually get paid, but they couldn't take the case without
upfront money.

I need each of her supporters to call their lawyers or lawyers you
might know and ask them if they would consider talking to my mother
and taking her case on contingency or pro bono. If you talk to an
attorney who would be willing to help, the easiest way to reach us
is by emailing me at kimberlysboyles@....

Over the years my mother has help countless numbers of people. She
has taken in families without a place to live, she has made sure
that people had food on the table, clothes on their backs, and
places where they weren't rejected. Portland, it is time to return
the favor. Please help us.
