Description

The Hemlock Ring Blanket was adapted and designed by Jared aka Brooklyntweed. It is SOOOOOOOO beautiful and this is just the time of year to knit this fabulous lap blanket. Anybody who is interested can obtain the pattern from Jared's blog: http://brooklyntweed.blogspot.com/. It is in two parts - the doily which is the inside, and the chart, which is the feather and fan outside.

I would be more concerned about being able to wash it and the mom not needing to block it. The holes aren't a big deal IMO

I'm sure a lot of people feel that way, but every hand knit & crochet blanket I received for my child had plenty of holes. I plan on making it for a baby gift

You will definitely need another skein if you want to do more rows before binding off. Imagine, there are about 15 sts on the bind off for every 4 sts you
