With all respect to Chris Busby, I have decided to create a new helicopterphotos group, as Chris has totally shut down the old "helicopter-photos" group, and I feel there is still a desire for one.

I hope we can get back into using a photos list again, even if it is slightly different.

Here's how I envisage the new list working:

You have a photo - create your own album in the Photos area and upload into your area, then notify everyone on the list with an email. When you upload, include an informative description (type, callsign, location, date).

You have a site (like Petr's HWRP or Luc's Helimat site) - simply send an email to the list as before.

Advertising or commercial messages won't be allowed, unless there is a very clear benefit to our list, and no conflict of interest from the poster.

I will try to upload the files that I have in my email system, and some others, hopefully we can build it from there to a great community again.

Again, please let me know if you object to this, or feel things should be run differently. Suggestions are welcome.
