Hi! My name is Melisa, I am 34 years old.  I have a husband Brian who is 36 we have been married for 9 1/2 years.   We have a 4 year old son Jayden that has some problems and is seeing a therapist.  They think he might have ADHD, ODD AND RAD.  We will know when he turns 5 if he needs medication for ADHD.  Him having Reactive Attachment disorder  makes me sad because that means he has trouble bonding with me.  I never noticed it but they say he has characteristics of that.  After doing more research I see a lot of the stuff they are describing in Jayden but I don't particularly understand it because we had a good bond until he was about 3 then he jus started prefering his Dad.  My biggest problem is my Sister who doesn't have kids of her own and that takes Jayden occassionally and she doesn't have problems with him.  Mainly because she doesn't discipline her stepchildren at all and they run and do what they want.  I am really frustrated with her right now.  I don't like people talking behind my back.  Anyway I want to learn more about this disorder and get to know parents that are going through the same thing with their child.
