Description
**Update - August 2006**
New and updated 3rd party Firmware now available for BOTH Keelai Models
HD01 and Hd02 - Tested and working. See Files Section.
This is a Group to support and discuss - The OEM 2.5" USB HDD Portable Multimedia players (PMP)/OTG Enclosures, that are Made in China by Keelai(HDD Players without OTG Function (Model HD02),and with OTG (on the go) function (model HHD01).Also Supported are Standard USB OTG Enlosures made by the Look Co. in China (Models LK-A3,A5,A6(sold as E-Look Brand items).
There are Three main variants of these available, the two by Keelai are Multimedia players(one has standard player features and the other the same but with OTG functions addded) and the E-look brand items are Standard USB 2.5" Enclosures, but with support for the NEW OTG USB Standard (These are usually sold under the name E-Look,ELook or Look .These are also sometimes also referred to as "PSD Devices" (Photo storage devices).
These products are very good and unique, but other than the manuals supplied with them (which are poorly translated)there is VERY little info available todo them. Please feel free to share any infomation you may have on manufactures,un-documented features, updated firmware etc,Etc...
See the FAQ's (in the files section),that I have complied from the information I know or have managed to discover.
I would just like to stress that I am in no way connected with anyone or any company that sells these products - I just have a interest in them , as there is very little information available on them at this moment in time..
