If you have ever been in a new GM vehicle, chances are you have seen
the little blue button that connects you to OnStar. There is something
that you should know if you plan on purchasing any vehicle that has
this technology or already own one.

OnStar works off of cell phone networks. The FCC has decided to get
rid of the old and stick with the new when it comes to the cellular
networks. This transition however has made it difficult for the analog
OnStar cell phone to communicate to the new digital only networks.
