Description

Event notices and other messages for Harvard Young Alumni (20s/30s) in the San Francisco Bay Area. Both grad and undergrad alums welcome!

When joining this group, please provide your first name, last name, Harvard affiliation, and official harvard e-mail address so that we can verify your Harvard connection via the HAA web site. We do check! Omitting this information WILL PREVENT APPROVAL.

This group is intended to keep us young folks informed of "young" activities. However, it does not automatically make you a part of the larger Harvard Club of San Francisco. Please sign up for the official HCSF at:

http://www.harvardclubsf.org

The official Harvard Club of SF is free for current students and brand new Harvard graduates (within 1 year out) and only $25 for those 2-3 years out. Beyond 3 years, membership is $50. This dues structure applies to the college and the grad schools. (e.g. someone 2 years out of the Law School would pay $25 as would someone 2 years out of the College)

Regarding this list, there's no strict definition for "recent grad". We generally go with "20s and 30s".

Please note: We moderators have become increasingly strict in order to protect our members from excess messages. Encouraged: Party invites, happy hour notices, seeking roommates, jobs being offered, unique offers (e.g. I'm leaving my spectacular apartment and my landlord wants a Harvard replacement), and questions that only extremely brilliant Harvard people can answer. Discouraged: common advertisements (use eBay or Craig’s List) and common questions (use Google).

Thanks!
