Home-based Educators of Charlotte (HBEC) is an inclusive, secular group providing support and resources for people who have chosen to educate their families at home. Members have varied backgrounds, as well as varied political and religious beliefs.

Please try to keep in mind that we are a diverse group encompassing many philosophies of life and home-schooling and compose your postings in a respectful manner. Please understand there may be people who do not share your views. This is not the appropriate venue for attempting to influence others to change their beliefs or for pushing a particular agenda.

A Note about posting: HBEC is a list for secular homeschooling resources and information. When posting events, opportunities or resources, please make sure that they are secular in nature. If you need information about where to post religious related events, please let me know. Thanks!
