Hey Ladies,

I am cookin up an idea to go on a day trip to Cincinatti. I was thinking about a Saturday in May. We could go down in the morning and go to the Findlay Market for lunch, it's like the North Market but bigger. Then, we could go to Ikea or somewhere downtown, university area, etc. I was even thinking about renting a big van so we could all ride together. This would obviously be a good thing to invite outreach to and expose them to a whole day of fellowship/fun!

Let me know who's interested or any good ideas pertaining to the trip.

Hey Ladies,
Brianna is working the mountain this Friday until 9 pm. So, we thought it'd be
fun to visit her and play some games.
I think we could go up to Polaris for dinner (wendy's or taco bell) then go over
to MM. Invite friends for dinner too so we won't need to go pick them up after
we eat.
Let's start inviting friends today so we can have a good turn out.
Also, if anyone has Entertainment Book coupons those would be good to  have-the
one for go-cart/ mini golf.

Also, I wrote about a day-trip to Cincinnati. Did the girls house already go

Soooo there's a party on May 7th, a Friday, I'm not sure what bar it's at, but it's a day-glo party. Basically you wear all white to the party and get sprayed with flourescent paint from cannons and paint guns and stuff like that. Sounds like fun!! It's 18+ so is anyone interested in going? You have to buy tickets in advance, so we should try to get a group of people together to go!

i totally agree! i think every women should take this class because, like mindy said, the world has totally distorted our view of sexuality whether or not we've had serious struggles in this area or not. when i took that class i realized there was something in it for every girl that she needed to hear. i tell all my friends and room mates that they should take it. this class totally changed my view on a lot of things, about myself and things the world tries to tell us. yay for this class!

SI for Women starts in less than two weeks! It is on Saturday mornings at the Adult side of 18th (basement) from 9-11:30a. If you have been thinking about signing up now is the time! If you have taken it or are a boy please pray for us!

I do want to say that I have heard there are some scared to sign up because they are not totally sure what the class is about. We DO talk about sexual addictions and how to find freedom from lust, HOWEVER, I recommend this class for ANYONE! :-) No one has been unaffected by the world's view of sex and sexuality. In this class we focus on the transformation of our minds (Romans 12:2) so that we can understand and enjoy God's gift in this area rather than stay enslaved to Satan's perversion of this gift!

BTW, if Saturday mornings are work mornings for you, over the summer we are offering this class on Wednesday nights.

Hey ladies,
This Friday we are planning a trip to the Choco cafe in Upper Arlington.
Beforehand we could get dinner at Panera in Grandview. The cafe has chocolate
fondue!?! Very intriguing.
They close at 11pm, so if we want to party longer we could come to my house for
a movie.
Let's pray that we continue to see God bring women to our group who are serious
about following Him. Also, pray that the women we do have will commit to cell
group. We are planning to get back into some discussion nights/cell group format
in May.

Start inviting people NOW! I'm super excited, I bought 10 goblets and some puff-paint at the thrift store. Here's the break-down for the rest of the stuff:

Sarah - gin and juice. (I'm serious about this. We need something to drink out of our goblets once they've been pimped.

Lorah - some munchies

Girls in the house (including Renee) - you're in charge of the bling! Glitter, paint (make sure it'll stick to glass), feathers, shells, anything! Like I said, I picked up some puff paint today but it's not much so the success of these goblets depends on you! (no pressure).

This Friday we are having a sleepover at Megan's house (thanks Megan)! We could all get dinner together after prayer and then head over to her house.

I think this will be a great time to catch up and have some good ol' fashioned girl-time.

We can bring snacks, breakfast food (or even go out for breakfast together) and maybe movies or something social to do. I am guessing we should each bring a sleeping bag, pillow, etc.

Hey, if you live on or near Alden and 4th I have and idea for us.

I live in a house (the lab) on alden & 4th (we are the square brick building with the upper and lower porches). We have girls who live above us who we have been trying to reach out to. So we got this idea. Why not have a neighborhood get together? I asked the girls upstairs and they were into the idea. So I didn't know if anyone else was in the same situation, has a neighbor they were trying to reach and would be into a get together. Trying not to make it a church thing but a neighborhood thing.

Maybe a friday night after cell? maybe a fire? Maybe friday August 13? maybe ? ? ?

Anyway I thought this would be a cool way to serve together and actually get to know some of you all... (I think there is at least 6 house on this block ish- and I barely know any of you)
