So, we done figured it out.

The holiday party and double swap will be held on Saturday, January 16 @ Jennie's house in Newtown!� We'll start at dinnertime (6:30pm-ish) and will have a pot-luck dinner, so please plan on bringing an appetizer, entree, dessert or beverage to share with the crew.

Our swap this year will be twofold:

- Belated Craft Supply Swap:� Bring all your unwanted craft supplies (no yarn or anything knitting/crochet related please) for a big share-a-thon.� We'll come up with a system to speed things up this time, so we can squeeze all our fun into one night!� Things is gonna get crazy.� :-)

- Annual Scissor Squad Holiday Gift Swap:� One of my very favorite events of the year.� Participants make a batch of a small craft - one for each of the other participants!� We sit in a big ol circle and open up our gifts together!� There's a lot of ooooohing and ahhhhhing and gushing over the amazing talent in our little group.� Everyone is welcome to participate - and if you don't have the time - no worries!� It is a lot of fun to watch the whole thing go down - and to ogle the crafts! - even if you are not participating in the swap.

An evite will be sent out in the not too distant future.� That will cover who's coming and bringing what food and all that jazz...

What I need via email is a list of who would like to participate in the gift swap.� Let me know if you are in!� Since we need to give an exact headcount to the Squadders who are taking part - and would like to give them as much of a headstart as possible - please let me know by Wednesday, Decemember 9, if you want to take part.�

I think that about covers it!� Any questions, give a holler!!
